When we're kids, we know bees by their sting. As we get older, if we're well-informed, we come to appreciate bees for the honey they make, the plants they pollinate, and the many other contributions they make to our ecosystem. In the end, though, these are all stories we tell, and meanings we make. They're just bees. What are the bees in your life?
